Why Direct-Drive?

Geared hub motors are lighter and more efficient at low speeds. Direct-drive motors are heavier but handle sustained high-power output without heat buildup — better for hills, better for longevity under load.

Torque Arm Required (A pair are included)

At 1500W, we strongly recommend adding our Heavy-Duty Torque Arms ($22) to prevent axle rotation in aluminium dropouts. This is a safety item, not optional.
